In July 2025, The Hispanic Family Foundation funded by Meharry University, the AIM AHEAD Southeast Hub, and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) launched an Artificial Intelligence / Machine Language awareness program consisting of 2 weeks of classes, 1 week of summer camp and an exhibition during the Hispanic Family Foundation Back to School event which serves over 3500 people each year.
The project was designed to help lower barriers to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) for children and allowing them to as students to help raise awareness on these topics.
Community partners included Kings Hammer, Coca Cola Consolidated, Grayco (McDonalds), and Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD).
Visitors included representatives from the Metro Arts Commission, Joshua Movement, an educator from Williamson County Schools, Hispanic Family Foundation board members, Family and Children’s Services, a manager from Bank of America, ministers from the Donelson Fellowship, Music City Worship, the Nashville Worship Collective, and many others.

The 12 minute exhibition video was shot and assembled by Ron Hall, Diane Janbakhsh, and Jerricho Scroggins in Apple’s Imovie.
