TennCare

At HFF, we help pregnant individuals and people of our community access TennCare, Tennessee’s Medicaid program, with the help of insurance navigators from Family and Children’s Services. Bilingual trained navigators come to our office throughout the week to assist with the application process and if there are any issues with their process. Ensuring understanding of eligibility requirements and what to expect after the application is filled has been a huge component regarding healthcare access within our community. Families can schedule appointments to receive 1:1 attention and support.

Through this service, many clients have been able to access prenatal care, regular checkups, and essential health benefits that have contributed to healthy pregnancies and births. Having bilingual navigators has helped remove the language barrier that is often encountered when our community is attempting to receive insurance. Our HFF staff and TennCare navigators ensure clients leave our office feeling empowered and prepared to navigate the healthcare industry.
