MNPS School Enrollment

The MNPS Office of English Learners has a space in our back offices where they can provide services to our families and caregivers whose students are English Learners or if they are new to the MNPS District. Here, families are able to schedule and attend an appointment to begin the enrollment process in the MNPS district for their student. During the enrollment process, the student will also be assessed to determine if they are eligible for English Learner services. The specialists who help enroll and test students are bilingual and they welcome families Monday through Friday.

Having this resource for our families has been very beneficial, specifically because the language barrier is removed at the HFF location. Families and students receive a smoother enrolment process and parents are seen, heard, and helped. Many caregivers share that having an enrollment service at HFF has been very helpful because of the convenience of location. Before or after completing the enrollment process, families come to our main HFF office to ask for other resources which has ensured their needs are met holistically.
