English Classes

Our English classes are offered to adult learners who are wanting to improve their writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills. We have bilingual instructors who provide personalized attention and practical skills that students can use in their everyday life. While students learn the grammar rules, our course is built around learning skills to engage in conversations at work, school, and with families. The program meets twice a week for 1.5 hours each session.

Students who have completed the English learning course at HFF have improved their language proficiency and they have also reported having an easier time navigating daily conversations with their bosses, clients, and English speakers they encounter. Many of our graduated students have gone on to complete the HiSet diploma and further engage with their community. Beyond the language, students gain confidence to advocate for their families and themselves to better improve their quality of life.
